This section lists disclaimers which clarify Thatdtailguy's services and work scopes further. These disclaimers support our policy of being transparent and are meant to promote a better understanding with our customers.
2.0 MOBILE DETAILING
By default, I am not a mobile detailer. The drop-off location is 522 Oakley Grove Circle, Evans, GA, 30809, or simply search "Thatdtailguy" on Google Maps. On a case-by-case basis, we can potentially make arrangements to travel to a desired location or property. For some customers, depending on the client's comfort level, we may pick up a vehicle and drop it off when the detail is finished. Please note that we aim to earn your business and always try to be as flexible as possible. 3.0 OVERNIGHT DETAILING POLICY
On request, we offer the option to keep your vehicle overnight for detailing. This service can accommodate late drop-offs, extensive detailing needs, or simply provide convenience for our customers. For example, if you require additional services such as a complete cabin refresh or shampooing, leaving your car overnight ensures the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, dried, and returned in top shape the next morning or early afternoon. Additionally, nearly all paint correction services will require a multi-day appointment due to the time-intensive process. If a ceramic coating is applied to protect the paint, additional curing time may also be necessary. Don’t hesitate to ask for this service—I typically work night shifts outside of detailing, so this schedule is often convenient for me as well. My goal is to remain flexible and deliver the best possible results for your vehicle. I truly appreciate your trust and support.
4.0 GENERAL
On check-in, we ask our customers to point out any components or parts that are already broken or in a condition about to fail before the detailing appointment. Extra care will be taken during the cleaning process in these areas. If we find defective materials or loose-fitting parts while cleaning, we may not be able to clean them properly and will advise the customer. Thatdtailguy will not be responsible for replacing weak or dead batteries. We avoid using any electrical devices on cars that may drain a battery, but leaving doors open during the cleaning process can drain a battery if it is in a weak state. Customers need to ensure their battery is in proper working condition.
5.0 INTERIOR DETAILS / CLEANING:
Customers are requested to clear their personal items from their vehicle before appointments. Thatdtailguy will not be held responsible for any lost items. There may be an extra charge of $25 to remove and repack owner items left in the auto. Glove box interiors will not be cleaned, and owner contents in glove boxes will not be disturbed. Child car seat(s) should be removed prior to the appointment if you wish the seat cleaned under the child seat. We are not experts in re-installing child seats to meet specifications. There is an option to have car seats detailed if desired. For autos that have extra dog hair or dirt conditions that are greater than the average amount and take extra time to detail, there will be a surcharge.
6.0 EXTERIOR DETAILING / CLEANING:
Thatdtailguy is not a paint repair or touch-up shop and will not be held responsible for fixing any paint failures that may occur during cleaning.
7.0 BOOKING DESCRIPTION
To ensure clarity and set proper expectations, the booking description now outlines exactly what is included in a standard detail. Additionally, certain less common or safety-sensitive services are listed as "by request only." This ensures that you receive the services you specifically need while maintaining the highest level of safety and quality. For example, cleaning the front windshield is available upon request due to the potential risk of smears affecting night visibility, which could compromise safety. If there is a particular task you'd like performed, simply let us know in advance. This approach allows us to continue offering a wide range of services while tailoring our work to your exact needs and ensuring your satisfaction.
8.0 GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates are available for purchase. All gift certificates are final sale with a NO REFUND policy. When purchasing a gift card, please understand that it is for a "dollar amount" estimated for a vehicle type and description, but the service may be subject to additional charges if the vehicle brought in extends the normal work scope due to extreme conditions of the vehicle, such as high dirt levels, dog hairs, extensive stains, tree sap deposits, or other issues that take additional time to treat. The receiver of the gift certificate will schedule the detailing work later after receipt of the gift. Certificates expire 6 months after issue. We encourage customers to use them promptly.
9.0 PHOTO CONSENT
As part of our service, we always take before-and-after photos of your vehicle. This is for our protection and to update you on the progress throughout the detailing process. These photos may also be used for marketing purposes and to provide social proof of our work. Any personal identification, including license plates, will be obscured to protect your privacy. If you do not authorize the use of these images for marketing, please let us know in advance, and we will ensure they are not used for this purpose. Your privacy and preferences are important to us, and we appreciate your cooperation.
